Original Art by John van Loon

John van Loon is a dedicated and experienced watercolour artist with a lifelong passion for painting. He discovered his love for art at a young age and has been honing his skills ever since. His paintings typically feature realistic landscapes, waterscapes, and urban scenes, capturing the beauty and tranquility of his surroundings with a keen eye for detail and a vibrant palette. In addition to his artistic pursuits, John is also a dedicated teacher, sharing his knowledge and passion for watercolour painting with others. For the past five years, he has been teaching classes at U3A in Glenhuntly, where he imparts his skills and techniques to aspiring artists. Throughout his career, John has held three successful exhibitions, showcasing his talent and garnering recognition for his work. While he may be modest about his accomplishments, his dedication to his craft and the positive impact he has had on his students speak volumes about his skill and commitment to the art of watercolour painting. As he continues to create and teach, John remains as passionate and enthusiastic about art as ever, constantly seeking to refine his techniques and explore new creative avenues. His love for painting shines through in every brushstroke, capturing the essence of the natural world and inspiring others to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
