Stillness in Motion by Hawsé Sumi

I created this piece to capture the harmony between serenity and transformation. The Buddha, bathed in hues of jade and gold, embodies inner peace, while the flowing textures surrounding him represent the ever-changing nature of life. The golden veins threading through the composition remind me that even in chaos, there is beauty, wisdom, and divinity. His raised hand, a symbol of reassurance, speaks of balance—an unshaken presence amidst movement. This piece is a meditation on stillness within change, a visual mantra reminding me that true peace is not found in control but in surrendering to the flow.
