Passing shower by Sue Cross

The painting is a serene depiction of a solitary sailboat at anchor in a calm, mist-laden bay. The artist\'s use of soft blues and grays evokes a sense of tranquility and peace. The boat, barely visible through the fog, appears to be adrift in a vast and empty expanse. The composition is simple, with the boat as the focal point, and the misty water and shoreline stretching out to the horizon. The overall effect is one of solitude and quiet contemplation. The painting invites the viewer to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and find solace in the simple beauty of nature. The soft tones and subtle brushstrokes suggest a gentle breeze and the quiet hum of the water. The painting is a reminder that there is beauty to be found even in the most remote and seemingly desolate places.
