My Front Gate by Brian Carew Hopkins

40 cm X 50 cm acrylic on stretched canvas This artwork was painted during a horror week, some of the things that happened I could not even bring myself to paint - they were so disturbing. At the high-level tragedy is more remote and intellectually manageable - though still grave. I think my sister summed it up well. In a Facebook comment she said "Very thought provoking Brian. So much uncertainty in the world, perhaps it comes down to something we can fix." <blockquote class="wp-embedded-content" data-secret="7L2r5Q13aD"><a href="https://vooglue.com/yes-the-video-will-play-at-home/">Yes The Video Will Play At Home</a></blockquote><iframe class="wp-embedded-content" sandbox="allow-scripts" security="restricted" style="position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);" title="“Yes The Video Will Play At Home” — Vooglue" src="https://vooglue.com/yes-the-video-will-play-at-home/embed/#?secret=wPBMd0ONSs#?secret=7L2r5Q13aD" data-secret="7L2r5Q13aD" width="590" height="332" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
