good morning no. 2 by Sophie Grey

Part of a series of drypoint prints navigating abstract childhood dreams, 'good morning no.2' explores the awakening from a nightmare. The hours of late night and early morning cannot be distinguished from one another and shadow and light play tricks on the eyes, making everything eerie and bringing a foreign sense of danger to the warmth of your childhood bed.
